Ready Read! “Ready Read: Lifting Literacy, Planting Purpose.”Ready Read game-based reading program for at-risk 3- and 4-year-olds, But it’s also a screening program for vision and learning disabilities that often go unnoticed until much later in a child’s life.
Through the art of storytelling, phonics, music, rhythm and rhyme, Ready Read builds early literacy. The content will plant seeds of faith, character, and hope.
Ready Read is not just teaching children to read—we’re helping them rewrite their future.
“Inspiring hope, one child and one dream at a time.” The CTG for a New Generation Christmas Gala, launched in 2014, was created to bring hope and joy to children who had lost a parent or sibling to violence or long-term incarceration.
At this unforgettable event, community stakeholders purchased and presented each child with their dream gift during a formal gala, where the children arrived in stretch limousines and experienced an evening of care, dignity, and celebration.
Though we were celebrating the holiday, the gala served as an intervention—planting a memory of love and possibility that could inspire these young lives to choose hope and life in the face of difficult circumstances.
Project I.A.M. (Inspiring Amazing Minds) Equipping the next generation to rise above trauma and reimagine their future.”
Project I.A.M. (Inspiring Amazing Minds) is a trauma-informed initiative for children in grades K–12 that uses performing and visual arts to help them process and express their emotions. Many children impacted by trauma struggle in school and in relationships, as unprocessed pain often surfaces as frustration or negative behavior.
Project I.A.M. provides a safe, creative outlet and equips children with coping strategies, building resilience and emotional intelligence. While we cannot change their environment, we can empower them to see it differently—and to navigate life with strength and hope.
